Famous NZ Athlete – Reading Task

Task Description: Today I have finished a research task for Mr Moran’s  class, And this reading task was about Famous Nz athletes and to complete this task I had to find a famous NZ athlete and I chose Richie Mo’unga and he is a Rugby Union player and he plays for the Toshiba brave lupus Tokyo which a Japanese rugby team. Once I was done I had to find out stuff about the NZ Athlete and add photos to the slide then I was done. This was really easy and simple to do. 

Skiing In Afghanistan – Reading Task

Task Description: Today I have completed one of my reading tasks from week 6 because this whole week we are doing FIOP. This book was about a man who is a vlogger and one day he asks his friends if he wants to go skiing and then his friend says “no because inset Skiing in Afghanistan is dangerous”. So after that they go skiing in Afghanistan. This book was okay its not my favourite but it’s okay. 

Thank you Ma’am – Reading Task

Task Description: Today I have completed my reading task for today and this task was about a book that me and my reading group are reading this week and this book is called Thank you Ma’am. This book was about a homeless boy who is currently struggling and since he is poor he has to rely on stealing from people, So one day when the boy is trying to steal this big bag from a lady and when the lady relies that he tried to steal from her instead of attacking the boy she instead gives him a life lesson that he will never forget. She notices that his face is dirty so she takes him home and washes his face and feeds him. To complete this task I had to read the book and answer the questions on the slides, This task was very interesting to do and I liked this book because it was a good book and my favourite part would be when she taught him a lesson and kind of changed him. Croatia Poster – Reading Task

Task description: Today I have completed my reading task for this week and this task was basically a project that we had to do for reading. To complete this task I had to get a big paper and do research about any country we wanted but it couldn’t be a pacific county or those really well known countries. I chose Croatia because I have heard about it but I have never done any research about it. This task was really fun to do because I got to choose photos and have Mr wiseman print them out and I put them on a piece of paper and make the poster look really interesting.  This task was really fun and I hope to do this again next time, Thank you for looking at this blog post bye!

Gender roles cartoon – Reading task

Task description: Today I have finished my Reading task for Wednesday and this task was about a book called Gender roles and this book was written by Evans, Malcolm Paul and this book is about the stereotypes about how women should stay in the kitchen and clean and watch the kids while the men do nothing and get served. This task was really easy to do because it was just questions about the book and the book was okay it wasn’t that great but it was okay. Thank you for looking at this blog post.  

Four of a kind – Reading task

Task Description: Today I have completed my reading task for Monday and this reading task was about a book called Four of a kind and this book was about a team of boys who play Netball and they are playing at the tournament when they realise something. The boy had realise that they were the only team of boys playing so they began to become nervous and scared but at the end when they start they find their confidence and they end up winning their game. Once I had finished reading the book i had to make the slides and complete the questions that were on the book and rewrite one of the scenes. I enjoyed reading this book and doing the task for this book because it was really easy and simple to do. Thank you for looking at this blog post. 

Dawn Raid 2 -Reading Task

Today I have completed my reading task for this week and this reading task was about a book about a girl named Sofia and the book is like her diary entirely and what she goes through.  This book is really good and is amazing because it talks about the dawn raids and what some islanders had to go through. Dawn Raids

Today I have finished my reading task for this week and my task for this week was about a book called “Dawn raids” and this book is about a 13 year old girl name Sofia and the book is like a dairy entry about what is going on in her life. I enjoyed reading this book because it was interesting to find out about what some people had to go though, I know this book is made up but it still was a good book. Boot camp

Today i have completed one of my reading tasks and this one was about a book called Boot camp and this book was about a girl and how her and her uncle joey go to this type of fitness/boot camp in the morning and one day they are stopped by a group of uncle joey old friends and they become very scared of whats about to happen.
