Task description: Today I have finished my maths task for today and this task was about the Properties of a 3D shape. To complete this task I had to first go through the slide and answer the questions like name each 3D shape and Properties of a 3D shape. This task was really easy to do and I hope to do this again but hopefuly its harder next time.
Four of a kind – Reading task
Task Description: Today I have completed my reading task for Monday and this reading task was about a book called Four of a kind and this book was about a team of boys who play Netball and they are playing at the tournament when they realise something. The boy had realise that they were the only team of boys playing so they began to become nervous and scared but at the end when they start they find their confidence and they end up winning their game. Once I had finished reading the book i had to make the slides and complete the questions that were on the book and rewrite one of the scenes. I enjoyed reading this book and doing the task for this book because it was really easy and simple to do. Thank you for looking at this blog post.
3d Shapes – Maths task
Task description: Today I have finished my maths task and this task was about 3d Shapes and to complete this task I had to Name that shape and What properties for each shape. For example a Cube has 6 faces 8 Vertices and 12 edges. This maths task was really easy and I hope to do this next time but hopefully it’s harder.
Dear new government – Extension task
Task Description: Today I have completed my Extension task for this term and this Extension task was something similar to what I have done Last term but for this Jam board we talked about issues that are important to different age groups. To do this task you would have to go into a group of 4, The people in my group were Hailey, Kensi, Zaria and me. Once you had your people in your group you would have to talk and discuss what we thought were important for the age groups. My group first started on what we thought were important for toddlers, We thought about lots of things but the one we thought was most important was spending time with Family and friends because when your a toddler you spend lots of time with your family and friends so we chose that. The 4 Topic or ideas that were in the jam bored were , Issues that are important to 11-13 year old, Issues that may be important to our parents, Aunts, Uncles and teachers, Issues that may be important to people who are retired (65+) and the one my group started with Issues that important to toddlers. For this task my group was the colour pink and each colour represents what other groups thought and their Opinions for what they thought. I think that we might use these Jam board slides to help us with our Extension task for this term and we might have to go back and use that information and just add on more to our projects. I enjoyed doing this task because I liked how everyone else had their opinions and knew and thought about what they thought about each topic and were able to right down what they thought. Task description: Today i have completed my Maths task for today and this task was about Polygons and I had to figure out the perimeter of these shapes like for example a Octagon has eight sides and i had to time the number of sides by five and the answer for this question was 40 because 8×4=40. I also had to go on this website where you could make your own shapes and for me I made my shape a triangle because it was easy and simple to do. Setting smart goals
Today i have finished my inquiry task for today and this task was about setting smart goals and my goal for this term is to try to go to sleep early and make sure i don’t go to sleep late. To complete this goal i will make sure i am going to sleep early and getting 8 hours. This task was easy and interesting to do.
